Welcome to the new Lucid Memories website launch. Here is a little history on how this came about.
My girls have been involved in several activities and sports (swimming, soccer, basketball, and marching band) over the last several years. I was using a small Canon point and shoot camera or my phone to capture the memories of my girls. Unfortunately these cameras are limited in their ability and could not capture the action shots I was looking for. It was time to retire the old Canon camera and upgrade to a Nikon DSLR.
I took a lot of pictures and share them with many parents through Facebook, Shutterfly, Flickr, and YouTube. The positive feedback I have received from parents has been a real blessing and has encouraged me to expand on my hobby. However with expansion comes expense. My goal is to upgrade my equipment so that I can provide the best possible photos/videos for everyone to enjoy. To do this I decided to launch Lucid Memories so that parents could purchase digital photos of their kids. In turn half of the proceeds will go back to support the organization that my kids are involved in.
